Coverage includes:

  • Genuine Cherry parts

  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts

  • Premium aftermarket parts

  • Tested used parts (where specifically noted)

Coverage does not include:

  • Normal wear and tear items (brake pads, clutch discs, filters, belts, bulbs, etc.)

  • Consumables (fluids, gaskets, sealants, etc.)

  • Parts damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or neglect

2. Duration of Warranty

The duration of the warranty varies depending on the specific spare part. Please refer to your invoice or product documentation for the exact warranty period for your part.

3. Warranty Claims Process

If you believe your Cherry part is defective and covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:

Step 1 – Contact Us Immediately
Do not attempt to repair or modify the part yourself. Contact our customer service team within the warranty period.

Step 2 – Provide Documentation
You will need to provide:

  • Your original proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)

  • Photos or video of the defect or issue

  • Your vehicle’s VIN (for compatibility verification)

  • Any relevant service or installation receipts (see Section 5 for maintenance requirements)

Step 3 – Return the Part
If requested, return the defective part to our premises. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless we determine the part was faulty due to our error.

Step 4 – Inspection
Our team will inspect the returned part. In some cases, we may request an independent third-party inspection at our discretion.

Step 5 – Resolution
If the defect is covered, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the part (if possible)

  • Replace the part with an identical or equivalent unit

  • Refund the original purchase price (excluding shipping)

4. Exclusions – What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by any of the following:

  • Improper installation – Including incorrect fitment, use of wrong tools, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

  • Misuse or abuse – Including racing, towing beyond rated capacity, off-road use, or over-revving.

  • Neglect or poor maintenance – Including missed service intervals, using incorrect fluids, or ignoring warning signs.

  • Accidents or collision damage – Including crash damage, impact, or fire.

  • Normal wear and tear – Including brake pads, clutch discs, belts, hoses, filters, bulbs, and similar consumable items.

  • Modifications or alterations – Parts that have been opened, modified, repaired by a third party, or had their serial numbers removed.

  • Overheating – Any engine or transmission that shows evidence of overheating (including melted components, warped surfaces, or damaged “tab” indicators).

  • Incorrect diagnosis – If you purchase a part based on your own diagnosis and it does not solve the problem, the part is not eligible for return or warranty (see Section 6).

Engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components are sold long bare unless otherwise stated. Any accessories supplied (such as injectors, alternators, sensors, or manifolds) are provided for your convenience only and are not covered by warranty. We strongly recommend transferring your own known-good accessories.

5. Buyer Responsibilities – Maintaining Warranty Coverage

To protect your warranty, you agree to complete the following before installation (applies to engines, cylinder heads, and long blocks). Failure to do so will void your warranty:

  • Flush the cooling system – Radiator and entire cooling system must be professionally flushed. Keep receipts as proof.

  • Replace all belts – Especially the timing belt. Timing belt snap is never covered under warranty.

  • Replace all hoses, radiator cap, spark plugs, oil, and oil filter – Use correct grades as specified by Cherry.

  • Replace the water pump – If driven by the timing belt.

  • For diesel engines – Have injectors and injection pump serviced, and replace the fuel filter.

Proof of these actions (paid receipts or work orders) must be provided with any warranty claim. Without such proof, your claim will be denied.

6. Incorrect Diagnosis – No Refund or Warranty

If you purchase a part based on your own diagnosis of a vehicle fault, and that diagnosis proves to be incorrect, the part is non-refundable and non-returnable. This applies especially to:

  • Electrical components (sensors, control modules, alternators, etc.)

  • Engine and transmission parts

  • Any part where fitment or function depends on accurate fault-finding

Recommendation: Always have your Cherry professionally diagnosed by a qualified mechanic or specialist workshop before ordering replacement parts. If you are unsure, contact our team – but the final responsibility for correct diagnosis rests with you.

7. Remedies – What We Will Do

If a defect covered by this warranty is discovered during the warranty period, Just Cherry Car Parts will, at our sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective part (if feasible), or

  • Replace the defective part with an identical or equivalent unit, or

  • Refund the original purchase price of the part (excluding shipping and any installation costs)

We will not cover labour costs, towing fees, rental vehicles, loss of income, or any other consequential damages arising from the failure of any part sold. Warranty is parts replacement only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Cherry Car Parts is not liable for any:

  • Consequential or incidental damages – Including loss of use, loss of income, property damage, towing, storage, rental costs, or any other expenses related to the failure of a part.

  • Labour costs – Associated with removing, diagnosing, reinstalling, or testing any part.

  • Third-party claims – Arising from the use or failure of any part sold.

Our total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the part as shown on your invoice.

By purchasing and installing our parts, you agree to release Just Cherry Car Parts from any liability for labour, towing, downtime, or other costs due to failure of any part supplied.
