By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Warranty Information

1.1 General Warranty

All non-electrical parts come with a 3-month parts replacement warranty unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only.

1.2 Electrical Components

All electrical items (including alternators, starters, sensors, control modules, and lighting components) come with a 30-day replacement warranty only. No refunds are given on electrical items under any circumstances.

1.3 Engines, Transmissions & Differentials

Engines, gearboxes, transfer cases, and differentials carry a 3-month parts replacement warranty with no exceptions. These items are sold as long bare units. Any accessories supplied (e.g., injectors, alternators, sensors) are provided for your convenience only and are not covered by warranty. We strongly recommend transferring your existing accessories to ensure proper fitment and performance. We are not liable for labour costs associated with transferring accessories or for any warranty on supplied accessories.

1.4 Warranty Limitations – Important

In the event of a warranty claim, Just Cherry Car Parts will not be held responsible for any consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to:

  • Labour costs

  • Towing fees

  • Loss of income or downtime

  • Rental vehicle costs

  • Any other expenses arising from the failure of any part sold

All warranties are parts replacement only.

2. Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty on engines, gearboxes, differentials, and other mechanical components will be void and no claim will be recognised if failure has occurred due to any of the following:

a) Incorrect or lack of lubricant or fuel – Including wrong oil viscosity, low oil level, contaminated fuel, or incorrect fuel type.

b) Overheating – Including but not limited to failed cooling systems, blocked radiators, faulty thermostats, or damaged water pumps. Any engine with a missing or damaged “tab” (overheating indicator) will automatically void warranty.

c) Failure to carry out proper maintenance – Including missed service intervals, worn belts, old hoses, or neglected fluid changes.

d) Unauthorised repairs, alterations, or dismantling – Including crash damage, towing beyond rated capacity, track use, or off-road abuse.

e) Improper installation and/or application – Including incorrect fitment, wrong part for the vehicle, or poor workmanship during installation.

f) Accident damage, overloading, or misuse – Including incorrect fitment, wrong part for the vehicle, or poor workmanship during installation.

3. Buyer Responsibilities – Warranty Protection

To protect your warranty coverage, you agree to complete the following before installing any engine, cylinder head, or long block. Failure to do so will void all warranties:

For all engines:

  • Flush the radiator and entire cooling system (receipts showing this work will be required for any warranty claim)

  • Replace all belts – especially the timing belt (timing belt snap is not covered under warranty)

  • Replace all hoses, radiator cap, spark plugs, oil, and oil filter

  • Replace the water pump if it is driven by the timing belt

For diesel engines only:

  • Have injectors and injector pump serviced by a qualified professional

  • Replace the fuel filter before first start

Proof of these actions (receipts or work orders) must be provided with any warranty claim. Without such proof, your claim will be denied.

4. Warranty Claims Process

4.1 How to Make a Claim

All warranty claims must be accompanied by an official Just Cherry Car Parts receipt or invoice. Claims without proof of purchase will not be processed.

4.2 Inspection & Costs

In the event of a claim, Just Cherry Car Parts reserves the right to recover any costs involved in:

  • Dismantling and inspecting the returned part

  • Third-party repairs or assessments

  • Out-of-pocket expenses

  • Freight and shipping charges for both sending and returning the part

4.3 Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises regarding a warranty claim, either party may request an independent, mutually agreed third party to inspect the part and determine the outcome. That party’s decision will be binding.

4.4 No Verbal or Implied Warranties

Just Cherry Car Parts will not be held responsible for any verbal or implied representations made by employees, contractors, or third parties beyond what is stated in this written warranty policy.

5. Returns Policy

5.1 Return Period

Returns are accepted only within 7 calendar days from the date on your invoice. No returns will be accepted after this period.

5.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for any reason:

  • Cut sections (including wiring looms, hoses, pipes, or cables)

  • Special order items (parts sourced specifically for your request)

  • Any parts that have been dismantled, pulled apart, or opened

  • Electrical components (these are replacement warranty only – see Section 1.2)

  • Clearance or discounted items marked “final sale”

5.3 Special Buy-Ins

Any parts purchased as “special buy-ins” or non-stock items will not be accepted for credit or return.

5.4 Return Condition

To be eligible for a return (where permitted), the item must be:

  • In the exact same condition as when it left our premises

  • In original packaging (if applicable)

  • Accompanied by the original receipt

  • Returned to our premises at your cost (unless prior arrangements are made)

5.5 Restocking Fee

Just Cherry Car Parts reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% on returned items (where returns are permitted at our discretion). This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and restocking labour.

6. Panels & Body Parts

6.1 Sold As Inspected

All body panels (including doors, bonnets, tailgates, bumpers, fenders, and quarter panels) are sold as inspected. It is your responsibility to inspect the part before purchase or request additional photos.

6.2 Colour Matching

Panels are sold based on colour, but no colour match is guaranteed. Paint fade, variant differences, and vehicle age mean the colour may not perfectly match your Cherry vehicle. The choice to purchase based on colour is entirely your responsibility. Returns due to “wrong colour” will only be accepted at your expense and within the 7-day return limit.

6.3 Fitment Responsibility

You are fully responsible for ascertaining the correct make, model, body type, and year compatibility before purchasing panels or interior parts. Just Cherry Car Parts will not be held responsible if incorrect information was provided or assumed.

6.4 Interior Parts

Interior trim pieces, seats, dashboards, and carpet sets are sold as inspected. Returns will only be accepted if the item is returned in identical condition and within the 7-day return period.

7. Freight & Delivery

7.1 Shipping Arrangements

Just Cherry Car Parts can arrange interstate or international freight on your behalf. However, you agree that:

  • Goods are deemed to have left our possession once they have left our premises via a freight company or our own driver.

  • You (the customer) are deemed to have taken possession at that same moment.

7.2 Transit Risk

Any goods in transit are your responsibility as the customer. This includes:

  • Loss or damage during shipping

  • Freight costs for return or replacement

  • Insurance (we strongly recommend you purchase transit insurance for valuable items)

7.3 Returns Freight

Returns will only be accepted if the item is returned to our premises with freight pre-paid by you, unless prior written arrangements have been made with Just Cherry Car Parts. We reserve the right to choose the freight company and invoice you for any associated charges.

7.4 Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a correct, safe delivery address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, you will be responsible for re-shipping costs.

8. Incorrect Diagnosis – No Refund

8.1 Buyer Responsibility

If you purchase a part based on your own diagnosis of a vehicle fault, and that diagnosis proves to be incorrect, the part is non-refundable and non-returnable.

8.2 Electrical Diagnosis

This applies especially to electrical components (sensors, modules, alternators, etc.). We strongly recommend having your Cherry professionally diagnosed before purchasing replacement parts. If you are unsure, ask our team – but the final decision and responsibility are yours.

8.3 Discretionary Credit

In rare cases, at our absolute discretion, we may offer a store credit for incorrectly diagnosed non-electrical items – but this is not guaranteed and is decided on a case-by-case basis.

9. General Provisions

9.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Just Cherry Car Parts. No other representations, warranties, or agreements – verbal or written – shall be binding unless explicitly agreed in writing by a director of the company.

9.2 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

9.3 Right to Amend

Just Cherry Car Parts reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version published on our website at the time of your order applies.

9.4 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
